What We Do

Three programs. One mission.

Every program is designed around a single constraint: books should reach the child, not the other way around. We meet families where they already are: in hospitals, in classrooms, in the lobbies and waiting rooms of daily life.

Hospital Bassinet Books

A book in every newborn's going-home bag. We partner with hospitals to reach families at day one.

How it works

We coordinate with labor & delivery nursing teams to stock a supply of age-appropriate board books. Every family leaves with a book tucked into their going-home bag. No application, no means test.

Why it matters

Reaches families at day one, the moment where reading habits begin. Normalizes books as part of newborn care alongside pediatrician visits and vaccines.

What we need

Hospital partners, board-book donations (new only), and volunteer book-packers.

School Partnerships

Classroom libraries and home-reading kits for Title I schools in our network.

How it works

We work with Title I elementary teachers and librarians to stock classroom libraries and provide take-home reading kits at winter and summer breaks, the two windows when reading gaps widen fastest.

Why it matters

Keeps books flowing to kids whose homes don't have them, and keeps them reading through breaks from school.

What we need

School district introductions, new or gently-used children's books, and classroom reading kit assemblers.

Community Drives

Anyone can host a drive. We provide the toolkit, signage, and pickup.

How it works

We provide hosts with signage, a donation bin, a collection target, and scheduled pickup. Corporate offices, faith communities, youth sports leagues. If you have a lobby and a network, you can run one.

Why it matters

Brings new donors into our supply chain and raises visibility in neighborhoods where the work shows up most.

What we need

Drive hosts, new or gently-used children's books, and volunteer drivers for pickup days.

Built on Partnership

We don't do this alone.

None of this works without the partners who open the door: hospitals that let us into L&D units, schools that invite us into classrooms, local businesses that put our bins in their lobbies. Every program listed here is a collaboration, not a transaction.
