Expedition Reading, Inc. ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, donate, volunteer, or partner with us, and how we handle that information.
What we collect
We collect only the information needed to do our work:
- Contact information you submit via email or forms (name, email address, phone, organization).
- Donation records processed by PayPal. PayPal's privacy policy governs the payment data itself; we receive only the summary information needed to issue a receipt and record the gift.
- Anonymous aggregate analytics from our hosting provider, used to understand site traffic and improve the experience. We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral advertising.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry or follow up on a donation, volunteer offer, or partnership request.
- To issue tax receipts and comply with nonprofit reporting obligations.
- To send occasional updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the organization (e.g., PayPal for donation processing, our email provider for correspondence), and only as required by law.
Children's information
The children we serve through our programs are reached through institutional partners (hospitals, schools, nonprofits) who hold the relationship and any applicable consent. We do not collect or store children's personally identifiable information on this website.
Your choices
- Request a copy of information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of that information.
- Opt out of any email communication.
